Based on a comprehensive study conducted jointly by Robeco Group
and Booz & Company, this paper provides an overview of the current
Responsible Investing (RI) market and its future potential. As part of the
study, a wide range of information sources were covered to provide an
objective overview of the RI market today and to project its state by 2015.
More than 50 market interviews were conducted, covering a diverse
sample of clients, distributors, and competitors with total Assets Under
Management (AUM) of more than USD 5 trillion. In addition, detailed
market research leveraging an extensive range of market reports, online
data sources, and industry databases was completed. Booz & Company
also conducted internal interviews with subject matter experts (SME)
to complement and validate the research.
