GIIN membership is for organizations interested in deepening their engagement with the impact investing industry. Members of the GIIN are connected to a thriving peer community and gain formal access to industry information, tools, and resources. Network Members periodically meet at events and through virtual convenings, and receive tutorials on tools designed to strengthen the impact investment market.

Network Membership provides a unique opportunity to participate a dynamic community of impact investing practitioners and service providers. Orientations to Impact Investing Tools: Participate in tutorials and workshops for impact measurement and deal sourcing tools, among others
Access and Contributions to a Peer Community: Connect with fellow Network Members to strengthen and build new relationships and learn about emerging activities and areas of practice
In order to maintain a diverse global group, the GIIN actively seeks members from a variety of geographic regions with an array of impact objectives.
The Network Membership launched in October 2012 with 83 founding member organizations from 15 countries. Network Members form a broad community of impact investing market participants--including investors, asset managers, advisors, and other industry service providers--with access to a global and diverse peer group for information exchange.
Member dues are paid annually, with discounts for nonprofit organizations (excluding foundations) and organizations headquartered in emerging markets.

Additionally, a 10 percent pricing discount is available to organizations that are also members of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs, Investors' Circle, or Mission Investors Exchange. A maximum of one discount may be used towards each membership application and the discount remains in effect for as long as an organization maintains membership in the relevant network and in the GIIN.
